Reasons why the church phone should not ring at the house

• Two or three times a week someone will call and ask for gas in their car, rent to be paid, a place to live, or money for no specified reason. Then they get angry at you when you tell them that funds are not available (which is the truth) and tell you how awful of a person you are and that the church is useless.

• Calls at 12:30 pm Saturday/5 am Sunday to ask when the church services are. They obviously thought they were going to listen to the answering machine to get the answer!
